Caring for elderly –what that means?
Every single day, families struggle to cope. Raising children, holding down demanding jobs, and trying to care for a senior family member can be an impossible mix. Mothers and fathers of families with young children especially, are often caught between balancing the care of their parents with full time work and juggling after school and hobby clubs for the kids.
Eventually, family carers can run out of hours in the day; the stress becomes too great and the balance is broken. Often, relationships deteriorate and the entire family can suffer as a result.
As our world becomes more accessible through travel and work opportunities, children move far away from their parents, unable to provide human contact with their ageing parents. That often leaves a seniors of our population desperately lonely, lacking contact and vulnerable.
As a dedicated healthcare assistant, you can help families restore balance and order to their lives. You can help children who work on the other side of the world know that their loved ones remain safe and well at home.
